Attending a Red Sox Game at Jet Blue Park
The 2017 season will be the sixth for the Boston Red Sox at Jet Blue Park, an 11,000 seat stadium, just off Interstate 75 in Fort Myers.
A number of the characteristics of the ballpark are taken from Fenway Park, including a "Green Monster" and a manual scoreboard. JetBlue Park at Fenway South captures elements of Southwest Florida, including seashells within its brick foundation and the architecture of the white roof, mimicking cypress trees in the distance. Environmentally-sustainable features are incorporated throughout the facility and Complex.
Fenway South provides state-of-the-art training facilities positioned on a single site and is intended to be used year-round, including use by Lee County's youth sports programs. It will include JetBlue Park, the main ballpark with a total capacity of approximately 11,000 fans (including standing room and berm), six practice fields, and other adjoining facilities that will house both the Major and Minor League operations and a rehabilitation center.
Follow Jet Blue Park on Facebook to find out the year-round activities taking place at Jet Blue Park.
