Governor's Baseball Dinner
For the third consecutive year, Governor Charlie Crist will hosted the Governor’s Baseball Dinner, on February 17 to launch the 2010 spring training season.  Florida’s salute to spring training honors a tradition dating back to the late 1800s.

The 15 teams holding Major League Baseball Spring Training in Florida were represented and other featured speakers included Major League Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig and members of the Baseball Hall of Fame Hank Aaron, Al Kaline, Robin Roberts, Tony Perez, Goose Gossage and the newest inductee of the Hall, Andre Dawson.

Florida Baseball History on Display in Stuart

Florida: Fields of Dreams" will be held from March 13-May 30 at the Elliott Museum, 825 NE Ocean Blvd., Stuart. The exhibit shows how Florida has contributed to the growth of baseball through its training camps and development. Museum hours: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Saturday; 1-4 p.m. Sunday; Admission: $8 adults; $4 children (5-12). Children under 5 free. Phone: 772-225-1961.

Youth Baseball Day – Little Leaguers, in uniform, take part in a pre-game parade on the field, and will then stay to enjoy the game.

April 3, vs. New York Mets
Kids Run the Bases – Kids 14 and under can run the bases after the O’s final home game.
